About The Coffee:

Discover our Ethiopian Chelchele coffee pods, sourced from the Chelchele washing station in the heart of the Yirgacheffe region. These coffee pods offer a delightful medley of flavours, including notes of berry jam, stone fruits and cacao.

In Ethiopia, coffee cultivation is an art practised by smallholder farmers who tend to their coffee plants alongside other crops. These dedicated farmers bring their cherries to a local washing station, where meticulous sorting and weighing take place before they receive fair compensation. The coffee is then processed, either through the traditional washing method or the sun-kissed natural process, and gently dried on raised beds.
Our pods are now made with recyclable aluminium! You can now return our coffee pods in any Axil store via the Terracycle Roast and Return Aluminium Recycling Program. For more information, head to terracycle.com
